Digital Notes

The best way to remember something is to write it down and keep it in sight. This is what you can do with Digital Notes. The application lets you place post-it notes directly on your desktop, which is obviously more convenient that writing something on physical paper. The notes are customizable to some degree, so you can easily distinguish one from another. Setting up reminders is another possibility.

Digital Notes is free to try, without any noticeable functionality restrictions. It has a small setup package and it takes only a few seconds to install its components, without making any complex settings. Also, there is no need to meet any special requirements.

When launched, the application will automatically create your first post-it note. You can create more by clicking a "New" button, which can be found on each note, along with a "Delete" button. Alternatively, you can create a new note through the application's system tray icon.

Notes are essentially text boxes. They can be resized and moved anywhere on the screen by clicking and dragging. Additionally, you can change the background color on each individual note. If your desktop is becoming too messy, due to a large number of notes, you can use an option to instnatly arrange them in cascade mode, in the upper-right corner of the screen.

Digital Notes comes with a reminder feature as well. Besides on-time reminders, you can also set hourly, daily, monthly and yearly reminders. In all cases, you can write down a note, so you will know what the reminder is all about, and specify exactly when you want the reminder to be triggered. Everything can be done on the fly, with only a few clicks, so you will be able to remember everything that is worth remembering, without the need for too much effort from your part.
